Hi!

Can anyone tell me how to get android running in full screen mode?
Im using VirtualBox and try to get get it working correctly in
fullscreen mode. But all I get is a black frame around the android
screen.
Regarding Linux they are talking about guestadditions, but how do you
do this with Android?

THX,

Martin

No, we don't support that.

Actually guestadditions are provided by VirtualBox project.
We know nothing about that.

Okay thanks ...

I was just trying it because the sound on the Inspiron Duo doesn't
work with the tegav build (3.2 or ICS) or has there been any fix
already?

Thx,

Martin

Hi,
you can quite easly compile the vbox guest additions for Android.
You just have to retrieve the vbox guest additions source code and compile them for the Android kernel - I did that to enable file sharing between the Android VM and the host.
You can have a sample VM image on my web site : http://www.buildroid.org/blog/?page_id=38

BTW, Chih-Wei, would the android-x86 project be interested in having a better support of VirtualBox ?
If yes, I could work on a new target for the android-x86 project.

Regards,
Dan.

Oh, thanks for your info.
Yes, we'd like to see better support of vbox.
Actually I have a device/vm/vm for it,
but it's not maintained.
I think you can start from that.
