audio and virtualbox

Hello,

Android-x86 works in virtualbox but I have no sound. I have set sound
blaster 16 (like explain here: http://www.android-x86.org/documents/virtualboxhowto)
but always no sound.
What is the trik to have audio (capture and playing) ?

Hi,

I also had this problem earlier. But after changing following settings
in virtualbox Sound is working properly.

Changes:
In Sun Virtualbox settings : Select Audio
Hostdriver : Alsa audio driver
Audio controller: sound blaster 16.

Try with this changes and listen audio.

I'm tested on custom kernel config, but I think this should work in eeepc image too...

AC97 works already in Android-x86 4.0-RC2 in Virtualbox 4.1.18_OSE (Linux).

To get work Intel HD Audio next line shold be added to device/common/generic_x86/init.sh:

alsa_amixer set Headphone on

Patch is attached.
