I finally got my device to work to 90% of what I wanted. One of the annoying problem I have now is how the device still drains power while in hibernation, at least I think it's hibernating. Here are my settings in the kernel configuration file:

1. Device is set to use performance profile instead of on-demand. I don't think my device supports on-demand.
2. Suspension is de-selected.
3. Hibernation is selected.

Per the thread about secondary core power off, I put power.nonboot-cpu-off 0 in my property file. I then resized and created a Swap partition using Gparted and added "resume=/dev/...." to the GRUB file. When I click the power button, the screen turns off, the backlight turns off and doesn't come back on (some people report the backlight would come back on randomly under Suspension). Click the power button again, the screen turns on and wifi works perfectly fine instead of locking up under Suspension. From the description of Hibernation for Linux, the power should turn off completely and not drain the battery. Anyone else seeing this behavior with hibernation? Right now, all I can confirm is that the screen turns off but hibernating doesn't seem to be working correctly.
