Hi All,
Is there a way to boot up with Safe Mode forced not to activate?

I have installed A-x86 on an Intel Education Tablet but Safe Mode is permanently activated. all else appears functional and stable.
I believe there is an issue with the down volume button as this does not respond in Android but when tested with a multimeter, the button closes and opens as expected. Nothing is jamming the button on, I suspect a fault further down the line.
I also suspect this is why Safe Mode is permanently activated.

So is there a way to override this function, via grub perhaps?

In hope to solve this,

If you boot the live mode (from a usb dongle),
does it still enter the safe mode?
Have you tried to re-install again to another directory?

Thank you for your support :)
Using Rufus app, I made a bootable USB dongle with Android 8.1 (64bit) .iso. Now when live booting I get the error "Bootloader has not Verified loaded image. System is compromised." I tried reinstalling Android and now get the same error.
I will continue to try options and any thoughts and help you can propose, I will be glad of.

Ok. I have solved the error issue. For some reason, secure boot had been activated in the firmware settings.
Tried Live mode and still in safe mode.
Will now try a reinstall to another directory.

Have done a full format total clean install and still in safe mode. I still suspect this is a hardware issue with a fault with the down volume button. Is there a way to bypass this issue, as I do not have the kit to solder SMD?
