Hello,
I have the 2016 HP Envy X360 M6-W105DX laptop. It's specs are i7-6500U 2.50ghz processor. Nvidia Geforce 930m-Intel HD graphics 520, 8GB ram and a 500GB Sandisk SSD Win10. I have tried to install Android X86 8.1, 7.1 and PrimeOS on a separate partition with this laptop. I can get them all to install and work to some extent but only on NTFS format with grub dual boot. If I format them to ext4 the install process goes thru but after rebooting nothing loads on the Android side. Not even Grub. These will only dual boot correctly if I install them under the NTFS format only.
I have had no problem with Android X86 in the past using an older laptop of the same make but only it was was an i5 HP Envy X360 M6-W103DX.
Can anyone assist in why this is happening with this particular laptop? I follow the same process as always. Rufus, USB flashdrive, etc.
Just cannot get it to install with ext4 format like I always have. Thanks.

Does your device use UEFI or legacy booting?

Please explain the details you performed,
especially the partition scheme.

Please provide /tmp/log of after installation complete.
You may get it by switching to VT2 (Alt-F2) and copy
it to a usb disk before rebooting.
