I m runnig my image of android-x86 in virtualbox over ubuntu 18.04, vmware dont works fine, i dont get with the installation or configuration for running in this program for virtualization over linux. The machine is not optimace(in virtualbox), and i want to do it, The first problem is assign more memory in video. The second important problem is one game app installed, corretcly witn play store, but the program say i need to reboot the device for better performing of the game. but when i do the virtual machine the process dont do it, or dont make nothing and this is the point i m there. The other things i proved with the machine works.

if u have any suggestion for the resolve this problems i ll be apreciate, thanks

vmwgfx acceleration in VMware workstation player is not currently working with oreo-x86, but it is working with nougat-x86

virtualbox 5.x works with sw rendering provided by Swiftshader, use at least 2Gbytes of RAM and 128Mb of Video Ram. SWrendering is not as performant as HW acceleration.

virtualbox 6.0rc1 supports VMSGVA, which is API compatible with with svga/vmwgfx, but even if nougat-x86 should work (as it works on VMware player)  I only see top left white cursor in text mode, not graphic mode set.

So:
good news (opportunity) to use VMSVGA as accelerated driver in virtualbox (which is more user friendly than VMware player)
bad news - it does not work yet with VMSVGA HW acceleration
