I am hoping to get Android installed on my old Fujitsu P1120 with a
transmeta crusoe processor. Seems like a good fit for this little
computer as its not the fasted thing in the world, but is netbook
sized and has a touch screen.

Anyone know if there is a path to get a build for this Transmeta? I'd
appreciate any pointers to get me in the right direction.

Thanks
-Will

I recently installed linux on it and it runs fine. I installed SliTaz 4 via pxe using the Slitaz4 live CD.
The transmeta cpu is x86 compatible so android-x86 would also work.
I tried to boot it via pxe using the android live iso I downloaded but it doesn't work. I posted a couple of questions into another thread about android pxe booting, I'll way for some answers (I hope they come ;-) I'll let you know if I have something working.

Please note about Transmeta CPUs:

1. Crusoe CPU only supports MMX and no SSE instruction sets
2. Efficeon CPU only supports MMX and SSE2 instruction sets
3. Android X86 official builds require SSE3 instruction sets

Ok, thanks for your reply!
So it will take more time then just using an official build. If I find the time I'll try to build Android without SSE. I hope it will not be too slow without the SSE optimizations.
