Hello.

I have downloaded from Your site "android x86 iso". I try these versions:

android-x86_64-7.1-rc2.iso
or
cm-x86_64-14.1-rc1.iso

I have a laptop with clean disk (with no partitions). I want to install android to this disk.

If android install started, I create and format (ext4) partition. On next screen not have a prompt to install GRUB.
I only have a screen with message: "Do You install Efi GRUb2?" - I try select yes.

After installation is complete, System not boot from disk :(

On older versions:

android-x86-4.4-r5.iso

Installation and system working and boot OK.

Only have problem with latest 6.0 or 7.1 versions of Android x86.

I need newer version, because on android 4.4 not support many devices on my laptop.

Please help me. What I can do, to install grub on MBR on these disk?

Best regards.

I had similar trouble with my laptop installation. I used system-rescue-disc live usb stick to create two partitions to my disk. First was 250mb Fat32 for the Grub2 and marked it bootable. Then I took the rest of the space and created it as ext4. Then in Androidx86 installer I chose the ext for the Android an the Grub2 installed itself to the Fat32 partition.

Try this:

Under the video, expand Show More - it lays out in detail how to properly format the drive and install Android-x86

I'm using an Intel i5 box (UEFI system). I used the Android-x86 7.1-rc2 release (you need the 64 bit for UEFI)

Go back to the beginning, and make 200mb vfat partition, name it UEFI. Then make your second EXT4 partition and install as normal.
