Hello,

I've installed Android-x86 on my Surface 3 (non-pro, Atom cpu). Everything works fine, some minor issues with the sound that I still need to fix, but nothing critical.

The main issue I have is that it seems deep sleep is never activated. When I put the device to sleep using the external button, or after some minutes of inactivity, the screen goes dark, but battery level keeps decreasing.

I did some tests by charging the device, unplugging the charger, put it to sleep and leave it on during the night. As you can see it in the attached figures, the screen goes off, but battery keeps discharging and it never goes in deep sleep. The results are the same for both Android-x86_64-7.1-r2 and Android-x86_64-8.1-rc1.

Is there a way to fix this? Or any other way to save battery when the device is not in use?

Thanks!

you won't get deep sleep,the better is reach s0i3,but 4.18 kernel still can't reach s0ix .
check /sys/kernel/debug/pmc_atom/sleep_state in the future  kernel until can reach s0i3 .
