Overview on my two Systems for latest 4.2.2 jellybean iso REPORT

Hello,

      Welcome to my post and overview of the recent release of Jellybean ANDROID on my systems.

I hope this is not gonna be too long. Please bear in mind that it worked for me but it might not work for you!

This is still in the testing stagesd as I understand it and not all devices/systems are supported.

     With this in mind and outta the way, I would like to take the opportunity to report my experience and testing

with this inprogress project iso release.

Evaluation of the so called android for pc/s/laptops/netbooks/other ANDROID Jellybean 4.2.2 test iso 

on my Two systems w/ specs are at the end of this quick? Overview...

PROs;;; The Good

1-] Both systems boots and installs without hiccup

From usb flash drive using unetbootin for the iso to usb

2-] Ethernet & Wifi works flawlessly

Wifi on the Pc didn't work becouse of an issue

Unable to use Alfa USB adapter AWUS036NHA

for wifi on the Pc as it doesnt get detected by the android 

3-] Works smoothly and without much fuss!

Internet, chat, FLASH, APPS, video, music, 

All that good stuff BUT is still not fully functional

as an android; Please READ the COns for explenation 

CONs;; The Bad

1-] As of this release, FLash was lost out-of-box and so 

to get that working you need to install the following;

FLASH apk file from the web

P.S Flash apk is NOT available on google play anymore!

You will not get the latest Flash version. but it will work

Why?! Adobe dropped support for Mobile flash since jellybean's arrival !!

But you can still install the latest flash apk that is on the webs

 here;;

2-] My main dissapointment was to find out that 3D [opengl?] on this is not working....  

 Sorry folks, no 3d gaming!!   Awww..... WHAT!?!  

Yeah.. Sadly for me, I purchased some 3d games from amazon's apks and cant play em

BUMMER ! ! !   IT was Ice breaker for me :///

3-] Apps are hit & miss so far

I did find some that didnt work and should?

Well, enough of ranting and lets get down to the applause! 

Overall, it was an Awesome experience to get to test this even though it's still far from

fully usable in my eyes.

The anti 3D support was a major killer for me 

Few aps dont work and wifi does sometime still get deadspots [looses connection]

but that might be my old laptop's build-in wifi going bad soon?

Let me say,

THANKS to all the Devs on here and the progress they have made since the earlier versions

that eighter didnt work or had problems with wifi+ethernet and crashing issues

I had only one crash in this release after a day and half usage.

1 Gig View ddr5 ram

256 bit pipe i think or 300 something? Cant remember

the rest is your  regular stuff with a Corsair 500Watts clean powerbox/brick

 I hope SOme of you found this Interesting to read and Some MIGHT even find my Flash issue and fix usable!?

If anyone else runs on similar Hardware close to mine please leave a comment and your comment 

AND if you would like me to build on this PC a test build iso of the android-x86 

I currently am successful in building images but I still cant get ethernet up only wifi

Am currently looking for a fix to this and if enough people are interested here in the comments about me 

building and posting iso build for this type of systems , let me know here TOday!! 

The sooner I see comments influx with positives towards this idea and the sooner I can start on the new

Testing iso build !

If I were to build and post an iso

Leave comments if you would like to see any other platforms included

I am thinking of  also including Eee pc's 

Only IF I will see influx of demand for this idea in the comments.

Becouse if people are NOT intrested... Well, there's no point in it for me.

Also, if you FLASH doesnt work, 

Makesure to install Firefox or dolphin after  flash installed 

the default browser doesnt support it
