Hi all,
I try to get dual display to work with android-x86 such that the desktop is extended to the second display and I can display different activities on both both displays.

Is this currently possible? This thread on XDA is the only information I could find - it's rather referring to Bliss OS. Apparently, it should be possible in the Android 12 branch, which seems not to be available yet for Android-x86. Even though the Bliss OS guys provide a build here...

Thanks for insights,
Markus

There are some recent build of Android 11 (BlissOS 14.10) that I am maintaining on BlissOS Telegram that include some Gralloc + HWC for extended desktop

Thanks! I tried BlissOS 14.10, but couldn't achieve the extended screen.
- with an AMD Radeon RX 580, it did not boot up
- with an AMD Radeon HD7850, it booted up, but second monitor is black (dumpsys SurfaceFlinger --display-id reports only one display)

I will ask on Telegram if anyone got this working.
Take care,
Markus
