Copy text from PC clipboard to Android device

Is it possible for me to copy text from the PC clipboard to the Android phone?  I connect to my windowze PC today via android-vnc-viewer to grab a URL from the web browser open on the PC, so I could paste it into the web browser on the phone, take that with me to read the page content from my phone.  I did not want to manually retype the long URL with query string.  I could find no option to copy that text to my phone though the viewer.  It is a pretty basic vnc feature.  Is this feature absent from android-vnc-viewer?

I don't know of a way within VNC, but you can use Chrome to Phone for this. There's a Firefox extension too.

Or... if you use the chrome browser on your phone and your PC, you can use your google sign-in and have open tabs automatically available across all your devices regardless of OS.

right....    I just provided one basic example, which involved a web browser.  People copy text from the windows clipboard from word processors, text editors, code editors, and many other sources.  Copy remote clipboard is a standard feature with most vnc viewers today.  I will review this viewer with one star on google play as it is an incomplete implementation.
