How to use with no menu key??

I've just bought a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, and this device doesn't have a menu button. You can hold down the back key to emulate a menu button, but when you do this in Android Vnc Viewer, it sends a lot of "Esc" keys to the remote pc.

eg, I want to do a "Send Keys" to send an "End" key in a program. When I hold down the back key to get to the menu, it sends a lot of Esc keys, which minimizes the program that I'm trying to use!

Is there any way to either turn off the sending of Esc keys when you push Back, or any other way to bring the menu up?
