Espresso : how to turn off animation.

How to turn off animation for Espresso. I get the erro rAppNotIdleException: Looped for 3580 iterations over 60 SECONDS on a particular page of the app.

Would appreciate your help.

I think this is only for emulator, how about the physical devices?

Go to Settings > Developer options, and scroll down to Window animation scale,Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale. Tap on each of the animation options and turn them off.
