Spotify: track Buttons are greyed out in Squeezer app but not in android notification

Hello. I am running the Spotify app in Squeezer and the track fwd/back buttons are greyed out and unusable but in the pull down Android notification bar the track Buttons are available and work.

Can you please activate the track fwd/back buttons in the Squeezer app for Spotify?

I am using a Squeezebox touch with LMS on a ReadyNAS RN102.
