Brilliant app, love it. I've got a multi room tablet setup controlling aHA and entertainment system. Where are the settings stored? I'm using folder sync to keep the tablets synchronized for Tasker scripts I trying to set the same up for send expect.

Having setup one tablet with a huge set of commands, I don't want to have to recreate then on each tablet. Any chance of adding a backup / Restore settings to Dropbox option ? Any hints on where the confidentiality are would be appreciated in the meantime. This would also allow customers to more easily share their configurations.

Again, fantastic app ! Thank-you (any way I can donate again?)

Thanks.  I glad you find it useful.

Standalone Send/Expect, unfortunately, currently keeps its profile data in private storage.  Unless your device is rooted you won't be able to get at it.  But if it is, look in /data/data/com.asif.plugin.sendexpect/shared_prefs for a file called profiles.xml

On the other hand, if you are doing everything from Tasker, your Send/Expect action data is stored some in Tasker data, which you can probably find.

I already have added import/export profile support on the list for Send/Expect.  I will move it up because you are not the only user that has asked for this.   But I can't say when the next Send/Expect release will be. It doesn't get very much of my attention, and every time I find a few hours for it, I end spending most if it fighting with the development environment changes that have taken place since the previous time (Gradle And Studio are moving targets).  Monday is a holiday here, I'll try to spend some time on it.

Started in on this last night and will try to get a new release out within a couple of days.

I've just release version 2.0.4 with a first cut at support for profile import and export.

Even if you are using Tasker, you can still manipulate profiles from the Send/Expect Action configuration within your Task(s).
