Does send/expect work on Android TV?

I'm trying to duplicate a send/expect plugin action that works on my Android phone, but I can't get it to work on my Nvidia Shield Android TV.  Is this plugin known to work (or not work) on Android TV?

Sorry.  I've never tried it on an Android TV.

I assume that means you also don't intend to in the future?  I thought my use case would be more common, but perhaps not.  Tasker + AutoVoice on my Android TV is proving useful for improving the interoperability of my Google Home, and this plug-in allows for communication to my home theater receiver.  With send/expect working on Android TV, I could have my receiver voice controls working without my phone being present (i.e., I'm not at home by my wife/kids want to speak commands).

Do you know offhand if it may be possibly to send TCP/IP commands using Tasker's java code features?  I may try that route.

Never mind!  It totally works on Android TV.  My receiver was glitching so it wasn't receiving the commands.
