Hi,

Currently one of the most popular Wifi LED controlling system is the LEDENET system. It is a cheap chinese generic HUE system that comes in many packages:

Some guys have managed to create an API in Ruby and Python to control it.

I've been using the SEND/EXPECT tasker plugin to control my Pioneer VSX930K. Works great!

I'd love to use it to crontol the LEDENET lights as well, but I'm not too sure where to start.

Do you think it is feasible?

Probably feasible to have some Send/Expect configuration hardwired to your device(s).  I would probably start by taking the Ruby/Python API and getting it running in an environment where you could modify it, and add tracing to it showing the packets it was sending / expecting for your desired functionality.
