I just tried to compile Android Pie as described here https://github.com/peyo-hd/local_manifests/tree/pie, the board does boot but the screen remains black.

Maybe Peter Yoon can take a look.

Hi ,

Its really good.
It build at my end as well, but its for single partition. Is there any update on A/B partition which is helpful in seamless update.
I want my rpi3 to have two bootable partition but one active at a time . This is new concept as A/B seamless update.
Do you have any idea on this ?

Sushant Kadam

Hi,

are you able to boot it ?
in my case I am able to build it but not booting (black screen).

kindly if you was able to boot it on your raspberry let me know what are the steps exactly. are you using rpi3 B or B+ ? which screen are you using ? connected over HDMI or DSI-Port ?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

regards
Hatem

Hi ,

I am using rbi3 B with HDMI screen.
What you are not able to build ? If you follow steps in (https://github.com/peyo-hd/device_brcm_rpi3)  you should able to boot it.
My question is about A/B partitions ? do you have two partitions on your SD card or you are trying with single partition.
