Huawei E3531 + Android Things +RP3

Hello all,

I'm working on a project with raspberry PI and androidTHONGS, and I'm trying to build it on a 3g / 4g dongle (Huawei E3531). However the raspberry pi3 detected the modem as memory card and not as modem and i'm not able to run and connect to the modem.

How can I solve this issue? I made a quick search and did not find a solution.

Any help is appreciated.

Please try if you can install modeswitch and use it to change the mode of the modem

Huawei devices generally required usb_modeswitch (with specific arguments)to expose other interfaces.

If it's working in normal ubuntu or other OS you could pick up the usb_modeswitch arguments from there.
