Hi,

as of writing, I've tried self-built android-rpi, konstakang's lineageos-rpi, google android things and emteria os. my target is to build an android-rpi image with video hw acceleration for tv purpose but after trying android-rpi, lineage-rpi and emteria, I found out video hw acceleration is only present on emteria which works on obscure live tv app (no pirate) as well as NewPipe. konstakang image is light on resource for my rpi3 but video hw acceleration isn't there while emteria is the other way around, hence why I attempt to build myself.

would be appreciated if igor kalkov himself can help me on this matter on finding the missing bits. konstakang image is based on android-rpi so both of them more or less the same

That might have been the case back in 2017 when I forked off of android-rpi. After three years, three new Andoid version, and two new Pi hardware revisions I don't think that's anyway accurate way to describe the project.

As for the hardware video decoding/encoding, IMO rather look into how this can be done in the future (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=81930725&postcount=108) than how it's been done in the past. Android Nougat has been EOL'ed for ~8 months now and no one should really it use for anything anymore.
