Hello everyone, I am working on a project for work I have a Raspberry pi
model 2 model B with KitKat 4.4.2 installed and are in need of some
help.
I have a USB accessory that i wish to use with the raspberry pi as if the pi was an actual phone or tablet (I'm telling you now that it already works with lots of android devices) the issue I am having is that when I connect my device up to the pi over USB I do not get this notification and so in the end my device does not communicate with its proprietary APP the bellow picture is what I am looking for when I connect my device, my device worksI have tested it on a few android devices.
Note USB Debugging is enabled on the PI normaly has to be for this to work I'm not trying to say that normal USB devices don't work because they do
com.android.future.usb.accessory.jar file was missing this file is required in order for this to work, I downloaded the file and tried to just copy paste it where it needed to be under system/framework I got an error from my file manager saying permission denied so looks like I need to install the forth link.
anyone out there who can help me?
also I could not get my USB thum drives to read for some reason, not sure it they worked before but there not working, Andorid Kitkat Pi 2 Es file manager.
