I would like to install android on my rasberry pi3 model b + but it does not work with the latest version of lineage. I have a rainbow screen.
Do you know when we will have a compatible android version to run xibo on this new model?

i've looked around - theres the emteria project, which is paid but has a free version. that's the best i've found so far.
i can confirm it working on the pi 3 b+.

It is annoying that I bought the latest raspberry pi (pi3 Model B+) just to run Android, and there is no working system yet for a pi3 B+
KonstaKANG's Lineage-14.1 shows no display after the rainbow screen.
The Emteria project works but is very poor compared with Lineage and it costs!
And---- I have been running  Android (Marshmellow) for many months on a Tinkerboard, and it works fine!

When is it going to work?

FWIW, I tried lineage-15.1 on RPi 3 B+ with official 7 inch touchscreen and it works just fine.

For those of you who gets the black screen after flashing LineageOS 14.1 or 15.1 on RPi3 B or B+...

1. Look for "config" file in your SD,
2. Modify "hdmi_group" and "hdmi_mode" values accordingly.

For instance, hdmi_group=1 enables CEA commands for TVs and hdmi_group=2 enables DMT commands for monitors.
hdmi_mode depends on your displaying device HW spec such as maximum frequency and resolution it supports.

Here is the reference...

I tested lineage version 15.1 and still the pb of the rainbow pattern then reboot. Can not start the raspberry on android.
What exactly should I put in the config.txt file?
My screen is a 19 inch LCD.
Thanks for your help.

that's it works but only if the network cable is unplugged. It restarts constantly with the rainbow pattern.
With OSMC, the rasberry did not have a problem with the network cable.
I conclude that the lineage version 15.1 has a flaw at this level. Do you have a solution to correct the problem of the network card?

The developer has removed wifi just to keep his distro for himself
test plug in the Ethernet cable that is the only way it works.
