From Puerto Rico all are Thompson

Hi. Excellent job for android. I have it installed in my Cliq and has
been a lifesaver. I will have a Nokia N900 in the future. Is it
possible to port RouterGen to Ubuntu and Maemo? I can test everything
you want me to, here in PR all Dmax and Claro WIFI are Thompson and
SpeedTouch, which is like 80% of all residential wifi's. I use
MiniDwep-gtk in Ubuntu, but it is too slow and drains a lot of
battery.
I have in my notebook a Atheros Wifi card. Works very nice on
aircrack. But RouterGen would be instant.

In one word, yes there will be a port.

As soon as the Nokia port it's done, the Ubuntu port should be fairly quickly.

is "Claro" the name of network that uses Thomson? I couldn't tell from your message.

Yes, Claro is the Latin America based company who bought Puerto Rico
Telefonica. Every residential wifi is from Claro. The proper name is
Claro Internet.
I have a question related to RouterGen. You have included a MAC
function where you enter a MAC address. Will this function give the
key for hidden ESSIDs? I have found small offices wifi's that are
hidden. In aircrack they scan like "lenght 16" but no ESSID. But I can
capture their MAC address. If I enter only the MAC to RouterGen, will
it give a key?
Does RouterGen relates the MAC with the hidden ESSID? the hiddens
ESSID's are usually DMAXxxxxxx or SpeedTouchxxxxxxx.

I forgot to mention that usually SpeedTouch modems are the old
thompson 582 and the Dmax are the newer white thompson TG782.
