Hello, I am very interested in the RESTProvider. I download the demo
and API from GIT. However, When I try and create a project from the
source it complains about no AndroidManifest.xml is found. I
downloaded Archive: http://github.com/novoda/RESTProvider/archives/master,
which no Android Manifest.xml exists. I am downloading the wrong one?

A second question, is the build target 1.6 or is it 2.0?

Thanks for your help,
Chuck

Hello Chuck.

The restprovider is undergoing heavy restructuring. You can check out the RESTProviderTest for examples and the RESTProvider is just a library. You can use maven to download dependencies against the RESTProvider. I will rewrite the doc in a couple of days.

Cheers,
Carl

Hi,

I have some problems to install the demos. The providers in the
manifest file does't extend android.content.ContentProvider.
What can I do?

Regards,
Anthony.

Hi Anthony,

It is probably down to the library/classpath. Try to download the jar and lib container from here:

Unzip the dependencies and ensure you add all the jars in there. That should work. I am still working on a simpler solution but it s been a bit of a pain to have maven/tests/android working together. Let me know if you managed to make it work. I am restructuring the rESTProvider so there might be heavy changes coming up.

Cheers,
Carl
