Youtube autoplayback in full screen not working in android 9 or lesser version.

Hi,

I am trying to run a Youtube video in autoplay mode using webview. Here are the results:

1)On an android 10 device (android tv box), the video plays fullscreen and autoplayback also works.

however

On devices with Android 9 or lower OS (android tv boxes) , the video plays fullscreen but autoplayback does not work.

One these devices, If i just load the youtube url in webview , video autoplays work but it does not come on full screen.It shows related videos in the sidebar.

Is it because the default webview shipped in the firmware does not support autoplay in fullscreen mode? How to get this working on such devices?
