Problem generating keystore and signing

Hi to all,

I am trying to sign an application and after the following steps I have the problem that the signed package is not created.

  1. I have created a keystore certificate for the application both with the kytool utility and from the Qt Creator IDE
  2. I have tried with both cases signing the application

At the end of the build I will be asked for the certificate password and insert it. But I can't go ahead. Is there some trick or something wrong in my procedure ?

The console reports as the given password is wrong:

BUILD SUCCESSFUL

Total time: 9 seconds

Signing package ...

jarsigner: Certificate chain not found for: plinews. plinews must reference a valid KeyStore key entry containing a private key and corresponding public key certificate chain.

Failed, try again

Is there some preferred folder where I should save the keystore ?

Hi,

Probably is something wrong with QtCreator implementation. Please open
a ticket at https://sourceforge.net/p/necessitas/tickets/, I'll take a
look.
