Hello,

Does anyone know  any information about minumum and optimum Android 2.2 (froyo) hardware requirements?

Example:

We know Qualcomm Snapdragon ( nexus one SoC) can support Froyo with flash 10.1

What about other SoC?

example;
OMAP
Braodcom
Marwell
Wondermadia..
etc..

Second question is

if Soc and HW  spec supports Froyo with adobe flash 10.1. What kind of changes and additions are required on the BSP and SoC platform source ( SW ) of the SoC?

thank you very much

Yes - OMAP supports 2.2 (foyo). But I must point out that the
hardware requirements for the Android platform go beyond just the SoC
- like WiFi and location support.

Most of the needed BSP changes needed for Android can be picked up
from the various vendor sites (i.e. http://git.omapzoom.org for the
latest OMAP stuff). Qualcomm also has a site - not sure about the
others but I expect the same. Also, Google supports a few of the
chip vendors from their site as well (http://android.git.kernel.org).
Basically, the omap kernel on git.omapzoom.org is cloned from the
Google site with the latest TI patches added on.

The same is done with the platform code. git.omapzoom.org is a mirror
of the android.git.kernel.org with the latest SoC specific
acceleration additions.
