Hi,

To validate MediaPlayer on Android, there is a specific application :
MediaframeWorkTest (in framework\base\media\tests\MediaFrameworkTest
\). However, I cannot find the associated test files, that are defined
in MediaNames.java.
Where could I find the test files associated with this application?

Thanks for your help,

MediaNames.java is in frameworks/base/media/tests/MediaFrameworkTest/src/com/android/mediaframeworktest.

Hi

First of all, thank you for your answer.
I've found MediaNames.java already, what I'm looking for is the test
files (mp3, 3gp, amr, ...) that are described inside MediaNames.java.
There are many many content files referenced in MediaNames.java, but I
cannot find them.
For example, where are MP3CBR.mp3 or mpeg4_qvga_24fps.3gp ?

Thanks a lot,

For immediate use, I suggest creating (or using existing content by
renaming the files) to the ones that you want. Most of the tests would
still be valid, except for test cases that deal with metadata. We will
see what needs to be done to release the same test content being used
internally out to the open.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question.

Like RaviY said you can use your own files.

or there are some opencore test files in

mydroid/external/opencore/engines/player/test/data

Thank you guys,
I'll use my own files for the time being.
Please let us know when/if your internal test files are made public.

Hi all,

Do we have any idea of the characteristics for each media files
described in this MediaNames.java file ?
e.g. for video --> codec type, video resolution, encoding bitrate,
video framerate, ...

Thank's,
