Hello to everybody,

I'm planning to use android to revive and to experiment with a neoware
thin client; the system has a 32MB Flash, two usb ports, serial and
parallel port, ethernet port and a pci expansion bus.

I would like to build a headless appliance with a web interface and to
use it as an access point (inserting a pci wirelesse card) a file
sharing system using the use and more :-)

Do you think that would be possible to do something with android or do
I have to use something else ?

Hi,
Looks like Android will be overkill what you are looking for. Also 32MB flash is not sufficient for Android RFS.

Hi,

Curiosity has prompted me to ask this, do u intend the system boot up
from the 1 Gb USB pen drive ? or would it be combination of flash +
pen drive. ?

Cheers,
Venu

I have a neoware thinclient with 192MB flash, I am wondering if I
would be able to get a vpn client to work with the android?
