Hi There,
We're creating a custom Android device based on the NXP iMX8M Mini and want to add our a BQ24250 charge management chip and a MAX17055 fuel gauge.
Both of these have been added to our Android kernel and the devices detected at boot time.
How do we integrate these devices with Android so that the charge state and current battery charge level are reported in the Android OS?
Thank you,
Donal

I've done that with different chips, but on the same SOC. This link helped me a lot https://medium.com/@pal.mohit.singh/android-battery-architecture-code-and-additions-1db58c7aa086

Hello,
You need the HAL, ask for that to the hardware producer.
