Dear Everyone,
Does anyone know how to build the Android SDK from Android source
code?
I've download the source and build the image successfully.
And now I tries to build its SDK, but I can't find any document about
this topic.
Any suggestion?

Someone mention "make sdk" in the groups. Can you try it and feed back
the result?

Android kerenl has added some new features such as Binder,power management, how to get these detail information(The detail change files and relaed docs)? thanks. |

Thanks, "make sdk" can work.
However, you should install JDK1.5 to compile it. (I tried to build it
by JDK1.6, but it failed.)

Hi,
I built the sdk which was successful and then tried launching emulator
with this new sdk.
The mobile phone screen on the emulator is blank and if i execute any
adb command keeping this emulator running, i get an error "device
offline".
Can anyone please help me in this topic?

Hi Heyanu,
give us more information, like sdk version and system that you are using. Did you just put the system.img inside the avd folder of the AVD that you?

Hi Anu,
I have this same problem like yours when I try to built sdk.
I can't start emulator and got "device offline" error too.
Have you fixed it?
