SDL init failure, reason is: No available video device

Hi,
when I try to start a new virtual device I get this error:

SDL init failure, reason is: No available video device

I unset an SDL_VIDEO.. already, as is adviced elsewhere in this group.
It still doesn't work though unfortuntealy.
Can you help me please? I would be much obliged

Hey I'm having the same problem. Did you get this fixed yet? I tried installing all the 32 bit libraries as suggested elsewhere, but they were already installed.

Also, you need to unset SDL_VIDEODRIVER, no SDL_VIDEO.
