The OMX spec may be of some use.

Can you help me understand why you are interested in adding a new h.
264 decoder, when there is one already in the framework? Compared to
the existing decoder, is it faster, or does it have more features? Or,
any other reason that I cannot think of?
Also, will you be contributing this codec to the framework?

Hello Ravi,

We are planning to port our codec as it does HD image decoding.
It also utilises the DSP part of the Omap 3530 processor and the h/w
accelerators.

So do u have any possible solution for my query?
How can I integrate my codec in the opencore framework?
Also do u have any idea as to how I can make the codec OpenMax
compliant?

Thanks and regards
Aparna

- Please move this question to android-porting.
- There have been many threads about how to integrate a codec into
OpenCORE framework. Please find them in android-porting.
- Also, the documentation is at
http://android.git.kernel.org/?p=platform/external/opencore.git;a=blob;f=doc/omx_core_integration_guide.pdf;h=65752cc0a038b9df48321d22e92a1e998bb0e7e2;hb=d7590132a05c70a2ccc97d286f638cff1e8dd002.
- About how to make a component OMX compliant, you would have to look
at Khronos website. You won't find much help in android groups.
