Cannot use USB tethering on Windows XP

Hi,

I followed the google mobile help (http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=182134) to config usb tethering on Windows XP SP3, but configuration file (tetherxp.inf) can not be installed.

Does this config file need to be modified to fit my phone?
