curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'android.git.kernel.org'

Hi,

I'm a beginner in Android development. Today, I tried to sync android
source code according to the tutorial on http://source.android.com/source/downloading.html.
When I wnat to get repo by the command "curl https://android.git.kernel.org/repo
> ~/bin/repo", I got the error as below,
curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'android.git.kernel.org'

Is it becasue android source code server was hacked and the server
has not been online yet?

Can anybody help me to solve the problem? Thanks.
