I was wondering the same thing.

I think that an open planning system is the main thing lacking
infrastructure wise in the project at the moment. Wouldn't it be great
to have something like launchpad (especially blueprints) to see where
everything/everyone is headed. Or maybe a wiki would be a good start?

https://launchpad.net/ubuntu

Also, I don't think there's any info on the site on how releases
(major versions), testing periods etc will be handled.

I think all this will be even more important once people start to plan
products based on Android.

100% agreed. We're trying to put together a Google Sites page (it's like a wysiwyg wiki) for this.  The only wrinkle is authorization.  We don't have the bandwidth to police it for spam, wikipedia style, so we're trying to get its sign-in connected to the contributor license agreement in the code review tool.  At least that's the current plan.  It should be up soon if everything goes well.

This makes sense though we won't know if this is enough to prevent
spam until we get a bit further along.
Is it also a goal to consider Site Page postings as contributions to
the project covered by the contributor license?

Yes some more clarity about how the individual projects plan to handle
this type of thing (and the collection of projects driving for
simultaneous checkpoints) would be quite helpful.

Thanks,

Thanks for that Joe... good to hear something is on its way.
Looking forward to the details.

The page flipping publications like digital magazine, ebook, newspapers, brochures etc can be viewed on Android mobile phones. Drag the the page corner, and the page-flipping book pages will turn with iconic sound and flash action. So I suggest page flip software to make such effect.
