Re: setting default video encoder

Hi,

    I am getting the above error in running CTS camera test cases ,where it fails to set the proper encoder, I have tried to set the value in build.prop using ro.media.enc.vid.codec=m4v ,but it still fails to set. Can anybody throw light in this issue

 if you use hardware ,you can read  the file "framework/base/media/libstagefright/OMXCodec.cpp".

          Thanks for the reply , I have found out that stagefright recorder uses the h263 codec as default .I am using software encoders for the purpose.
