Select which mic to use when multiple exist

Is there anyway to specifically select which mic to use as an audio source for recording, when multiple exist-  like on the Nexus 7?

Not specifically, but you can specify the audio source, which is basically the use case.

The device implementation is supposed to pick the right mic based on that. See
