Study Android Operating System Source code

Hi All,

Please help me to study Android Operating System Source Code.
Provide me an link related to "Android OS source" and source
code related resources and also related forum.

Basically I am a dot.net developer having around 4years of
expirience, but now a days I am very much fascinated about Android
Technology I have gone through the website "http://
source.android.com/" where they stressed most of their part on
"Android App development", since I find some similarity with that
I don't want to study that for time-being.

Since "Android OS Source" is an open source project, I want get
familiar with this source code. As I can learn from forum that to run
source code we require Linux operating system, They specified Ubuntu
64 bit operating system.

Please let me know what all tool I want to use over here and step by
step to get source code from "repository", debugging source code,
architecture and even modifying that code.

Over this message I have mentioned too much, But my dear friends I am
very much serious about this.

1. you gotta be familiar with the linux kernel
2. watch the google I/O videos on Android
3. experience.
4. If you dont know how to program the system with the SDK, then how
do you hope to understand how it functions underneath?
5. GOOGLE FOR THINGS! how can you not be able to find how to download
the code? Its pretty evident that you havent even searched for it.
