Hi there,

since more then two weeks I try to establish a bluetooth client
socket. It will establish the socket but fails when I call connect
with a Service discovery failed IOException. I outlined my Problem
here [1]. It sounds to me like a bug in the underlying implementation.
If this seems to be a kernel bug I'm willing to investigate further
and to post an official bug report (but where?).

There are people with similiar Problems [2], [3]

Hello,
Sorry for the delay. Does this problem happen to you on Nexus One or the Droid on the latest release. I believe on Samsung it was a problem with the Broadcomm stack.

Thanks.

I can confirm this happens with Nexus One with Froyo. It works
perfectly against a Windows 7 RFCOMM server but Ubuntu Lucid Lynx
fully updated with bluez 4 gets only one connection and successful
data transfer and then no new connections are made or if they are
made, my server receives 0 bytes and the end of stream is reached.
