Power Management Internal working in Android

Hi,

I am currently studying ACPI on linux/Windows platforms, I was asking myself if Android has a similar subsystem for managing the electrical power.

If it uses a different software stack, can I know if it uses any sort of bytecode for configuring devices in its tables? (Like AML in the ACPI).

Do you know if Android also uses a modified version of the mac80211/cfg80211 layer?

(intended for both hardMAC and softMAC devices),
