We have an app that adds a SDP record , but we then need to add some attributes/sequences.

It seems that only existing way of adding SDP attributes is via "sdptool setattr".

Problem is you have to be elevated to run it so it can write to /dev/socket/bluetooth.

Is there any workaround?

What is your app doing exactly ? Are you using the rfcomm public APIs. There are no public APIs for doing what you want to do it. I am trying to understand the need for such a public API.

Thanks

If you want to understand why Bluetooth Services need to add there own attributes, start by looking a PBAP, OPUSH,HS AG, etc.
