nexus 7 android 5 lollipop

Hi!
Upgrading to lollipop openvpn settings don't connect anymore.
It shows "select to turn openvpn tunnel" when I push it shows "Startup..." and then again "select to turn openvpn tunnel" nothing happen.
The log file is empty.
Usually the config is set to tap device but I tried also tun nothing change.
Please help.

I haven't looked at this, but Android 5 requires compilation with PIE, so any pre-5 executable won't run.

If this is your problem (try running openvpn from adb and see if it starts or errors), try to follow the OpenVPN Settings instructions for how to extract openvpn from some other app, making sure it's one that is Lollipop-ready. This may not exist yet.

Last resort is to compile from source yourself.

I would like to compile it myself. Changing the target platform should do the trick for the PIE problem. Has anyone ever succeded in compiling? I've tried but I'm not sure how the ssl and lzo projects get linked to the openvpn project
