To all OpenVPN Settings Users

I am curious!
What features would you expect in version 1.0 of OpenVPN Settings?
Please add your thoughts to this thread.

Regards
Friedrich

I think that it will be good to add an option to remember the
passwords when a checkbox is selected.

It is very useful especially whit random generated long VPN passwords.

Thank you in advance.

It would be interesting to have some kind of widget, to have a one
click connect to a selected vpn.

I would love a feature to enable users to save their password. This
would save me about 5 minutes of time every day, since my VPN provider
is a bit unreliable.

Also a widget to force a reconnect would be nice!

Best wishes

I definitely support Johnny about save password while auth-user-pass
is enabled in the openvpn config.

Definitely the feature to save username/password credentials.

BTW, great work!

Hi!
about saving credentials: i set up my config file auth-user-pass
pwfile
and entered login and username in this file - works like a charm.

I would like to have some option to prevent system to send any data
before vpn ups. Is there any way?

Hi,

I am not so familiar with the config syntax. Can you post a specific example of how you set up your user/pw, please? Sorry for being too lazy to RTFM ;-)

TIA
Martin

I used the wrong mailing address, I think. Please see below.

Hi!

I'm using your app for a month, and it's great, but it could be great to implement a white wifi list.
I mean, that when you are connected to one of the specified wifi, the VPN autostarts.

IzK,

I agree with you. What I'm doing now is using Tasker and having the VPN app start up as part of the connect script.

Not sure if this will help,

Denis
