Installation of /system/xbin/openvpn in CM11 fails

Hi!

The installation of /system/xbin/openvpn fails in CM11.
The log shows the root cause:
/system cannot be mounted rw

This issue might be related to customer Rom CM11 which I installed recently.

Is there a workaround to finish installation of /system/xbin/openvpn?

Downloaded the following patched debug version and it installed binaries properly
