CardDAV-Sync is a CardDAV client for Android to synchronize contacts with a remote server. Due to its implementation as sync adapter it integrates seamlessly with the default contacts app.
It uses DAV based protocols instead of syncml. It integrates with several groupdav/carddav serves. For a list of compatible servers look at: http://dmfs.org/wiki/index.php?title=Supported_servers_%26_services.
Paid version with more features is available on the android market.

My test has been made with egroupware server 1.8
