No notifications on Linux

Hi

Just downloaded and installed Android and Desktop app. Devices paired but not connected (says status on droid). I can see that the notification gets through to the PC as the BT icon gets an overlay when I send a test notification, but it doesn't trigger a notification from android-notifier.

I really like the concept and would love to get it to work.
