How to take out put of adb shell into a file.....

How to take the output of  "ls -l /proc/*/fd/" following command that i ran on adb shell in a file........

I try'ed ls -l /proc/*/fd/ > ls.txt

But failed

Try to create the output file in the sd card directory: /sdcard/file.txt
