cpu-features compiled with GCC4.8 on x86 generates a SIGILL/ILL_ILLOPN on a Samsung Tab 3 10.1 (Intel CPU)

should i report a bug?

I just compiled NDK-r10/test/device/test-cpufeatures with GCC-4.8 and it binaries crashes with an Illegal instruction exception.

I need GCC4.8 for C++11 features, but it seems to be broken on x86.

any idea?

just tested with ndk-r9d and it just works fine...

It has been fixed: https://android-review.googlesource.com/#/c/102135/
the ndk r10b that has just been released is including this patch.
